All foreign visitors desiring to enter Sweden must have a valid passport and necessary travel visa(s). No funds are available to assist with travel and registration fees cannot be waived. If, for some reason, your visa application is denied, your registration fees will be refunded to you in full.

Tipping Standards
Tipping in Stockholm is never mandatory as service staff earn standard living wages. Local etiquette dictates either rounding up the bill or tipping 5% - 10% for exceptional service.

Detailed Tipping Breakdown

• Restaurants & Bars: A service charge is frequently built into the bill. For truly excellent service, you can round up to the next even hundred (e.g., changing a 280 SEK bill to 300 SEK) or add 5 - 10%. At a bar or café counter, tipping is not expected.
• Taxis: Rounding up the fare is the standard convention. If the ride is 285 SEK, rounding it to 300 SEK is perfectly appropriate and appreciated.
• Hotels: Basic tipping is not necessary. If a bellhop or porter assists with heavy bags, 20 - 50 SEK per bag is a polite gesture. For long stays with excellent housekeeping, 20 - 50 SEK per night can be left.
• Tour Guides: Tipping is the norm for city or specialized tours. Standard gratuity is around 200 SEK for a half-day or 400 SEK for a full-day tour per couple/family.

Electricity
Stockholm uses 230V at a frequency of 50Hz. If you are traveling from North America or another region using 110-120V systems, you will need to ensure your appliances are dual-voltage and bring a plug adapter.

Attire during the duration of the conference is business casual.

As a courtesy to our speakers and other attendees, please turn off any cellular phones, pagers and watch alarms during sessions.

Cameras and Video Recording
Cameras and video recorders are strictly prohibited in the sessions, poster presentations and the exhibit area. Film or video will be confiscated.
